Discussing the changing data protection landscape, DPA expert, Ralph O’Brien, will take delegates through their obligations as a company as well as their individual rights to meet the UK’s Data Protection Act (DPA).

Ralph works for IT Governance Ltd as a Senior Consultant and has been a DPA practitioner since 1998. As well as writing the ACPO data protection audit manual, Ralph has extensive DPA training and consultancy experience

in both the public and private sectors.

Taking place on the Monday 28 January at 16:00 GMT, this webinar is open to anyone with an interest in the DPA. Delegates can register for free and can listen via their speakers or headphones, connected to a computer. This will be an interactive webinar, where you can post your questions to Ralph who will hope to answer them throughout the course of the webinar.

Ralph will take delegates - step-by-step - through the UK Data Protection Act, discussing the new changes proposed, the ICO’s response, the obligation to notify authorities, as well as penalties you may face if in breach of the DPA.
