2013-08-29 23:43:05 - The Barrington of Carmel, the only life-care senior living community in Hamilton County, is excited to announce the hiring of new staff member Jarred Richardson.
The Barrington of Carmel, a life care senior living community, has named Jarred Richardson as director of plant operations. The announcement was made by Troy Cannaday, executive director for The Barrington.
“Having worked for a sister community through our sponsor organization Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation since 2003, Jarred brings quality work experience and strong values to our Barrington team,” said Cannaday. “We’re thrilled to have his expertise here in Carmel.”
Richardson brings a decade of experience having worked at sister community, Edgemere, in Texas as maintenance supervisor. His role involved supporting the day-to-day maintenance needs of the community as well as working with contractors and vendors, planning community improvement projects and training staff. In his new position as director of plant operations,
Richardson will be responsible for management of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry services, security and landscaping for The Barrington community.
“At Edgemere, my team and I strived for perfection by providing professional work with enthusiasm and respect and by always going the extra mile,” said Richardson. “By doing so, Edgemere was propelled to be the Premier Retirement Community in Dallas, and I am excited to bring that mindset and that drive to The Barrington. With the great team we are building here, I believe we will be seeing The Barrington earn that title of Premier Retirement Community in the Indianapolis area soon.”
Originally from Garland, Texas, Richardson attended trade school for HVAC where he acquired his EPA Universal HVAC license, HVAC Tech 1 certification and ICE Certification.
