Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013 -- Jules Verne Festival creators Jean-Christophe Jeauffre and Frédéric Dieudonné ( www.julesverne.org : ) proudly announce THE WILD BUNCH IS LOOSE AGAIN, welcoming to the stage Ernest Borgnine, Bo Hopkins, L.Q. Jones and more.
THE WILD BUNCH (1969) revolutionized cinema arts and technique and has remained a tremendous influence on some of the greatest modern directors/screenwriters worldwide. It returns to the big screen for its 40th anniversary at the historic 2,000-seat Million Dollar Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.



Hollywood Legend Ernest Borgnine (Poseidon Adventure, From Here to Eternty... ) will accept the Jules Verne Légendaire Award for outstanding performance in THE WILD BUNCH.



Melissa Peckinpah will accept the Jules Verne Légendaire Award to THE WILD BUNCH on behalf of her father Sam Peckinpah, who passed 25 years ago.



Camille Fielding will accept the Jules Verne Lifetime Achievement Award to late film score composer Jerry Fielding on his behalf.



Some of the movie stars and celebrities confirmed in attendance: Ali Macgraw, Chad Mcqueen, Keith Carradine, Billy Bob Thornton, Lalo Schifrin, Melissa, Mathew & Lupita Peckinpah, Walter Hill, Malcolm Mcdowell, Bernie Taupin and more.



And for the first time ever: the after party will be held on the very stage of the theatre!

THE WILD BUNCH IS LOOSE AGAIN is the 5th installment of the Jules Verne Legendaire Awards series that has already featured The Blade Runner, The Birds, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Some Like it Hot, and hosted George Lucas, James Cameron, Tippi Hedren, Harrison Ford and many more.
