Texas School of Business' Friendswood Campus Hosts Graduation Ceremony for 184 Students

Texas School of Business' Friendswood campus held a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 20, for 184 students. The ceremony took place at 6 p.m., at the University of Houston Clear Lake, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston. Dr. Franklin Bernard Hall, Anderson Hospital physician, was the featured keynote speaker for the ceremony.

Students were recognized for earning diplomas in one of

three programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the statewide Occupational Projections, Texas Workforce Commission, Labor Market Information, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 59 percent and dental assistant positions by 43 percent from 2004 to 2014.

'Our graduation ceremony represents a new beginning for each of our graduates,' said Theo Anderson, executive director of Texas School of Business' Friendswood campus. 'I am extremely proud, as are the staff and faculty, to see our graduates achieve their career goals and become viable contributors to the allied health community.'

The Texas School of Business Friendswood campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally accredited agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
