ARVADA, Colo. – In 2004, Glenn Bott, the founder, was struck by an SUV while bicycling one summer evening. This sudden life-altering injury slammed him into a coma and left him with an extreme Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Given the seriousness of the injury, merely surviving was initially doubtful. After weeks of being comatose before slowly gaining consciousness, the doctor’s concern then became Glenn’s brain damage and what his quality of life would be. It was explained that every TBI is unique and there is no way of knowing to what extent he would recover. He could remain in a vegetative state, or progress to the level of a 6th grader, or ?? No one could forecast the extent of
his recovery, but it was highly unlikely he would ever be the same.
After spending several weeks in a head-trauma hospital and then at the world famous Craig Rehabilitation Hospital, Glenn slowly began recovering and was eventually discharged to put his life back together. Day by day, Glenn slowly began regaining his cognitive skills and rejoining society. He used his previous life and business training to reinvent himself. Like the mythical Phoenix, Glenn has risen from the ashes over the past 9 years! The Warrior’s Way is a program Glenn designed to help returning veterans, athletes, and the general public improve their lives. He now better realizes the importance of following your passion and living life on your terms. Glenn has discovered that claiming one’s personal power and walking a “Path with Heart” are paramount in living a fulfilling life.
Glenn is fully aware of the fact that we’re only here for a finite amount of time, and during that time we should reside in joy and happiness and live life to our very best. Since the accident, he is very passionate about sharing his story and facilitating a process where people reclaim their power and value. He knows from personal experience how it can sometimes be difficult to keep a positive attitude and continue moving forward in life. He also now knows that if he can fully recover and begin creating the life of his dreams, ANYONE can do it.
The Warrior’s Way is based on living our lives with conviction, vigor and love. Glenn’s mission is to get the word out to as many people as possible and assist them in raising their eyes, holding their heads high, and moving forward in creating their dream life.
