2012-01-14 19:20:51 - Tony Cervati is Type1Rider in this full length Documentary, still in production, and chronicles a Man with diabetes, going where not many have finished, and no other Type 1 diabetic has ever attempted.

"Type1Rider the Film" documents this 42 year-old man with Type 1 diabetes, as he leaves everything behind to bike the longest, most dangerous, unsanctioned mountain bike trail on the planet.

After more than three years of training, he will bike 2800 miles, alone and unsupported for 30 days, from Canada to Mexico along the Great Divide, through deadly terrain -- ice, wind, snow, impossible climbs, deserts, and grizzly country. His insulin-dependency creates life-threatening challenges, but he will stop at nothing to prove that people with diabetes can live a life without limitations.
