COSTA MESA, Calif.—Nov. 13, 2009—AccessEN will host an interactive discussion of the convergence of social media and the mobile Internet by Tal Golan, KillerApp Factory CEO, at its monthly forum on November 17, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the Center Club, 650 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, Calif.

Entitled “The Perfect Digital Storm: Social Media + Internet + Mobility," Golan will

share his ideas on topics ranging from social media and social networking, to mobile/Internet convergence.

Golan is an inventor, innovator, technologist, developer, futurist, musician, philosopher, husband, and father. In addition to raising four children with his wife Andrea, Tal is the founder of Killer App Factory (www.killerappfactory.com), a technology incubator and research firm focusing on mobile/Internet convergence and social media based in Newport Beach, Calif.

In 2003 Golan founded the Irvine-based enterprise email security company Sendio, Inc., where he served as CEO and CTO through venture funding in 2006. From its inception, Sendio's mission has been focused on the elimination email spam, viruses, and other email-borne threats. Through the use of proprietary technologies, including Sender Address Verification (SAV) and Silverlisting, Golan helped enterprises world-wide recover valuable time and money lost to wasted effort filtering through unwanted and/or dangerous email. Sendio boasts 95% customer retention since 2004 and has won numerous awards.

Featured Business Case

Frank Huybrechts, CEO, Inferpedia, will address the issue of the most effective way for marketers to reach their customers as his company plans to exploit the fundamental imbalance between user and social networks. Inferpedia has created a real-time marketplace where consumers get the promotions they want, exactly when and where they want them, and the marketer gets high response per promotion due to the highly accurate, targeted, one-on-one marketing provided by this lifestyle data marketplace.

Inferpedia will create a data marketplace of semantically transformed member content from internal or external sources that enhances the way marketers reach their customers. According to Huybrechts, the tidal wave of online user generated content is creating billions of dollars of value for the social networks. Social network users work long and hard to create content, they give it away without payment, and then this treasure trove of information is mined and packaged and sold by the social networks.

Admission to the event is $45 for non-members and $25 for students. Space is limited; pre-registration may be required to ensure seating. Register online at www.accessen.org.

AccessEN sponsors include Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth; The Center Club; and Daly-Swartz Public Relations.
