Boston, Mass. — October 11, 2012 — Many Hopes, a fundraising organization that helps to find, rescue, house, love and educate orphaned and abandoned girls in Mtwapa, Kenya, today announced their annual Breaking Ground fundraising campaign will be held October 15 – November 18, 2012. The kick-off event will take place in Boston at Swish Shabu ( swish-shabu.com), one of the city’s premier Japanese hot pot and sushi restaurants.

WHAT: Many Hopes Breaking Ground 2012 Launch Event with Founder, Thomas Keown

WHEN: Monday, October 15, 2012, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: Swish Shabu, 84-86 Peterborough Street, Boston, Massachusetts

Many Hopes is providing a long-term strategic solution to the corruption and poverty that exploits the most

vulnerable girls and boys. The organization invests in sustainable community development on five related fronts, one community at a time: girls homes, quality school, boys homes, medical facility and community water.

The organization’s annual Breaking Ground event will bring thousands of volunteers across the world together to raise $300,000 in four weeks. Hosted by Swish Shabu and featuring the organization’s founder, Thomas Keown, the kick-off event is being held in Boston, the founding chapter of Many Hopes.
