AB Interpares, Sweden’s oldest buying organisation in the building materials trade and the largest home-improvement chain in the country, has recommended ZBD and its Nordic partner Delfi Technologies’ Breece epaper system to its members. The solution has been selected to help member stores achieve improved competitiveness and profitability. The framework agreement with Delfi Technologies has been signed on behalf of Interpares’ members.
Johan Fors, IT Manager, AB Interpares said: “After careful consideration and testing of different systems, Interpares has now decided to recommend Breece epaper – a solution for digital price/product information - to our members. We have signed a framework agreement with the Breece Division in Sweden, which is based on our members’ potential. We see Breece epaper as a
future-proof solution that will enable us to compete more effectively and improve profitability”
Commenting on the agreement, ZBD’s Andrew Dark said: “We’re pleased to see Delfi working so closely together with AB Interpares. This move will enable members to simplify daily work in stores with automatic product updates, improve sales conversion and margin through accurate and timely pricing and the management of promotional offers.”
Interpares is Sweden’s oldest purchase organisation within the construction industry with approximately 50 member shareholders, operating more than 100 stores across Sweden. The chain caters mainly to local and national construction companies and has centralised purchasing, IT, finance, education, information, logistics and environmental functions.
Fredells Byggvaruhus in Sickla, Stockholm is a member of AB Interpares and is the first DIY store in Sweden to have installed ZBD and Delfi’s Breece epaper system.
