WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/08/09 -- Phillip Swann (a.k.a. 'Swanni'), the president of TVPredictions.com, has generated international media attention for his comments on which celebrities look better -- and worse -- in crystal-clear HDTV.

And now Swanni has named his 2010 'Best and Worst' in HDTV.

Who's number one on the 'Worst' list?

Katie Couric, anchor of the CBS Evening News.

Swanni says: "In standard-def, Katie still looks perky, but in high-def, she's a turkey! And the CBS Evening News anchor probably has no one to blame but herself. Couric reportedly has been (or still is) a frequent smoker -- and it looks painfully obvious in HD. Her upper lip is littered with those tell-tale wrinkles that usually only come with constant puffing."

Swanni names actress Nicole Kidman as the second worst-looking celeb in high-def.

"I don't want to say she's gotten Botox," Swanni says, "but her face looks like it's had more needle injections than Barry Bonds' butt; seriously, it's more frozen than a mortgage loan officer's heart."

Completing Swanni's 'HDTV Horribles' list are: 3. David Letterman; 4.
Megan Fox; 5. Olivia Wilde; 6. Mickey Rourke; 7. Cameron Diaz; 8. Meg Ryan; 9. Adam Lambert; 10. Bill Maher.

Swanni selected actress Scarlett Johansson as the best-looking celebrity in HDTV with "Lost" star Evangeline Lilly second. Rounding out Swanni's 'HDTV Honeys' list are: 3. Jennifer Love Hewitt; 4. Hayden Panettiere; 5. Taylor Swift; 6. Beyonce Knowles; 7. Johnny Depp; 8. Joanna Krupa; 9. Natalie Portman; 10. Blake Lively.
