Swedish central government payments resulted in a surplus of SEK 15.6 billion in
February. This was SEK 10.9 billion lower than the Debt Office's forecast. The
difference is largely due to shifts in payments between February and March.

The Debt Office's net lending was SEK 6.1 billion higher than forecast. This is
mainly due to on-lending to the Riksbank being carried out in February instead
of March. The Swedish capital contribution of SEK 2.5 billion to the European
Investment Bank was also disbursed earlier than calculated. Since these payments
were made earlier than expected, a corresponding deviation in the opposite
direction will occur in March.

Tax income in February was SEK 2.1 billion lower than forecast, which is mainly
explained by lower supplementary tax payments.

Interest payments on central government debt
were SEK 0.4 billion higher than expected. For the twelve-month period up to the end of February 2013, central government payments resulted in a deficit of SEK 123.4 billion. Central government debt amounted to SEK 1,221 billion at the end of February. The outcome for March will be published on 8 April 2013, at 9:30 am.
