www.sullivan-group.com - Superheroes often appear when and where we least expect them. Blasting off from a phone booth, swooping down from the skies, and in this case, inhabiting the 2008 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Cameron Drilling & Production Systems group's customer-appreciation event.

In recent years, Cameron's annual customer appreciation event has been one of the OTC's most anticipated on-site

celebrations. Thanks to the Fantastic 5 - a team of "real-life" superheroes - this year's event will certainly live up to the hype.

"Our task was to create a theme around Drilling and Production Systems' key product offerings, making them the heroes," says Alex Rasmussen, Senior Vice President of Sullivan Group. "Taking that task quite literally, five superheroes proved the ideal combination of product-centric thinking and imagination."

For the fourth consecutive year, Sullivan Group is serving as the Offshore Technology Conference's official Special Events Service Provider. The 2008 OTC also marks yet another year when Sullivan Group is joining forces with Cameron to produce a super-powered marketing event.

Donning spectacular custom-designed costumes, Cameron's Fantastic 5 will mingle with partygoers, as they highlight the company's oil & gas offerings. Each of the team's high-tech costumes even features a torso-mounted video screen that will colorfully demonstrate product features and benefits.

Far from ordinary sales tools, the Fantastic 5's interactive outfits were formulated and fabricated by Brand Marketers, a national firm specializing in non-traditional, experience-oriented communications.

"Creating the Fantastic 5 was a team effort. Much of the credit goes to Drilling & Production Systems' in-house marketing department," says Rasmussen. "While Sullivan Group focused primarily on event coordination and theming, Cameron produced the invites, stunning graphics and printed materials."

Sharon Sloan, Cameron Marketing Communications Manager for the Drilling & Production Systems group, stresses that marketing goals helped to unify focus for the entire team. "Each year presents a new corporate message. Concentrating our theme on that message helps to engage customers in our brand story, while they enjoy themselves."

Scheduled for the evening of May 6th, day two of the OTC, Cameron's celebration takes place within Reliant Stadium's West Club Level. In attendance will be 700 guests, who will arrive via five appropriately themed tunnel entrances. Once inside they can expect a lager-than-life party featuring the Fantastic 5, heroic graphic displays, cocktails, energized music, prize giveaways and a bevy of Cameron-inspired surprises.

It's sure to be a heroic happening for Cameron, Sullivan Group, event guests - and of course, the Fantastic 5.
