StumbleUpon Partners With the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Sweepstakes "Stumble the Oscars(R)" Contest Prizes Include Seats on the Red Carpet

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/13 -- StumbleUpon, the best way to discover new content on the Web, is teaming up with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on a "Stumble the Oscars®" sweepstakes that begins today. Two grand prize winners will receive tickets to the Oscar Fan Experience red carpet bleacher seats on Hollywood Boulevard on Oscar Sunday, February 24.

"Stumble the Oscars®" is a 14-day sweepstakes running today through January 30, 2013. On each day, StumbleUpon users can browse -- or "Stumble" -- through a new List of content curated by the Academy in categories such as Oscar Red Carpet Fashion and Best Picture Nominees. Each day, a few lucky Stumblers will Stumble onto a prize page in the List to win prizes provided by Condé Nast, Etsy, Gogo, HotelTonight, Seamless, SPIN, TaskRabbit, Warby Parker and more.



These daily winners will also be eligible to enter to win the Grand Prize: the Oscars Fan Experience, which includes 2 bleacher seats along the Oscars red carpet, with airfare provided by MileWise and hotel stay provided by Mondrian Los Angeles. Winners of the Grand Prize will be announced on January 30.

In addition to seats, winners of the Oscar Fan Experience will be invited to watch the Oscars at a nearby theater and will receive a fan gift bag.
