Newly appointed Advisors include Brian Pope, chief operating officer of Virgin Charter, Mae Ho, associate at Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP, Shelly Holmes, partner at The Rogers Group, Joe DiLeonardo, VP of
Marketing at Ferrera Pan Candy Company and Linda Mounce, Senior VP at Alliance Bank.
The Starfish Creative Events Board of Advisors consists of area leaders in substantial business arenas, including operations, legal, public relations, marketing and finance. The appointed seats go to Brian Pope in operations, Mae Ho in legal, Shelly Holmes in public relations, Joe DiLeonardo in marketing and Linda Mounce in finance.
Their expertise ranges widely across many industries, from luxury services and consumer products to public affairs, social networking and entertainment. SCE aims to take advantage of the breadth and diversity of knowledge this Board of Advisors brings to the company through annual board meetings and conference calls.

Brian Pope is the Chief Operating Officer for Virgin Charter, one of the newest divisions of the worldwide Virgin brand, led by Sir Richard Branson. Prior to Virgin Charter Brian has collected 15 years of experience creating compelling marketing programs for global brands. This includes heading the entertainment marketing practice for IMG consulting and serving as the VP of Marketing for Universal Studios Hollywood, where he led overall marketing strategy and consumer communications
Mae Ho is a Senior Associate at Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP, a boutique entertainment law firm specializing in entertainment, music and Internet law. Within her 10 years of experience in entertainment and intellectual property, she has worked as a Trademark Associate at Baker & McKenzie and as an Associate Director at Farmclub, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Mae works with platinum level artists in all areas of the music field and has expertise in branding and sponsorship matters. Mae holds a BA in English from UCLA and a JD from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.
Shelly Holmes is the Executive Vice President and Partner at The Rogers Group, one of the leading public relations and public affairs firms in the US, and one of the largest headquartered in the West. Shelly is responsible for strategic planning and oversight of branding, issues management and public education accounts. With over 20 years experience in the communications field, Shelly has a wide range of experience with clients including Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations as well as state and local government agencies. She serves as a board member and communications committee chair for the Southern California branch of CORO, a 75-year-old national leadership foundation, as well as for the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic.
Joe DiLeonardo is Vice President of Marketing for Ferrara Pan Candy Company, makers of iconic classics such as Lemonheads and Atomic Fireballs, where he brings with him over 20 years of marketing, sales and management experience, with a focus on consumer packaged goods. Prior to this he served as Vice President & General Manager of Nabisco Foods for the Trolli Candy division, Marketing Director for Warner Bros. Studios home video division and Vice President of Hershey Food's non-chocolate division. He has received numerous industry awards including Advertising Age's Marketing 100, several 'New Product of the Year' awards, advertising's EFFIE for outstanding effectiveness, FLAME for impactful kids advertising and a Gold OMA for excellence in in-store merchandise.
Linda Mounce is Senior Vice President/Manager of the Healthcare Banking Division at Alliance Bank, an independent business bank headquartered in Southern California, where she has developed and oversees a substantial portfolio of clients primarily in the healthcare market. She has 18 years of experience as a banking executive in Southern California, including stints at Mercantile National Bank, First Professional Bank, and City National Bank. She also serves as the Finance Chair on the Board of The Children's Dental Center, a successful nonprofit organization.
