Stanford’s School of Engineering announced today that it will deliver “Stanford Design Way and Foresight Framework" in Seoul, Korea from June 25-27, 2009. This executive education program features Stanford University faculty and will address how organizations can evolve leading-edge products and services, as well as deliver on the promise of innovation.
Stanford School of Engineering has collaborated with the International Design School for Advanced Studies ( IDAS :
) to host this unique executive education program in Seoul.
“Stanford Design Way & Foresight Framework" is led by Larry Leifer, professor of mechanical engineering, director of the Stanford Center for Design Research and founding faculty member of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. Leifer has delivered innovation workshops to companies worldwide, including
SAP, Ford, Nokia, Siemens, Intel and Audi. “Businesses are moving fast and we believe a critical piece of the solution is using the innovation process to challenge assumptions, prototype solutions, and develop roadmaps for future success,” states Leifer. He will be joined by Dr. William Cockayne, instructor for Stanford’s Center for Design Research, who will address the challenge of “long-range innovation.”
