February 6, 2014 Bellevue, WA – THAT!TM is proud to announce that its latest product, SpreadTHAT! butter knife, has won the 2014 iF Product Design Award. This marks the 3rd iF award in addition to 1 red dot award that the company has received previously for its products.
The iF Design Award is one of top awards in the world given annually to products that have proven its superior value in usefulness and design. According to the iF Industrie Forum Design e.V., a jury of 49 experts evaluated designs from 55 countries in total and selected winners from 4,615 entries that vied for the coveted 2014 iF design awards.
“Winning the iF award is always a great honor” said Ken
Michalkiewicz, Vice President of Sales Americas at THAT!, “One of the keys to our continued success has been designing with test-user feedback from the US, Europe and Asia during our product development cycle. This allows us to tweak our designs very early in the process and is something we will continue to support.”
Quickly transferring heat from the user’s palm, the super efficient thermo conductive material solves the age-old problem of tough carving and near-impossible spreading of cold butter on toast. Available online at www.thatinventions.com and at selected specialty retailers, SpreadTHAT! joins the award-winning ThawTHAT! defroster board currently being offered. The company will also introduce five more product lines in March 2014.
“Our customers have shown us through strong sales that green products, especially those that contribute to healthier living, continue to be number one on their wish list. As consumers shift towards using natural ingredients such as butter over artificial spreads, any revolutionary product that helps galvanize such movement has always been well-received by the market,” said Michalkiewicz.
