Portuguese team Sporting Clube de Braga will face Artmedia, from the Slovakian town of Bratislava, in the next UEFA Cup round.
The UEFA Cup draw, held today at 13hours, Central European Time, in city of Monte Carlo, in the principality of Monaco, dictated that SC Braga will play the first match at home, in the AXA Stadium, the 18th of September.
The away match in the Slovakian town of Bratislava will be played a week later, in the 2th of October.
Sporting Braga football director, Carlos Freitas, said that "SC Braga is aware of the difficulty of the match. But very confident we will win this next UEFA Cup challenge".
The winner of this UEFA Cup round will enter the "UEFA Cup Groups Stage" that will take place between the 23rd of October and the 17th of December.
In other S.C.Braga related news, some SCB players were called to there national squads for the World Cup 2010 qualifying matches.
SC Braga Portuguese Goalkeeper Eduardo was called to the Portugal national team to play Malta, in the next 6th of September and Denmark in the 10th.
SC Braga Peruvian Central Defender Alberto "El Mudo" Rodriguez was called to the Peru national team to play Venezuela and Argentina in the next 6 and 10 o September.
SC Braga Austrian Striker Roland Liz was also called for the Austria national squad to face France an Lithuania in the 6th and 10th of next month.
