2008-08-21 14:58:04 - Information Arts, Europe's leading business-to-business insight and data services providers, has this month announced it has taken sole responsibility for the direct sales of the Harte Hanks' premium Ci Technology Database (CiTDB) in the UK - and is introducing a new range of data and insight services for users of the database.

The Ci Technology Database (CiTDB) allows technology and telecommunication companies to effectively execute marketing campaigns and build effective sales pipelines. This dynamic set of data, with in excess of 100 fields of data about companies IT and Telco infrastructure, provides a critical view of the technology lifecycle of businesses within the UK and across Europe.

Built and maintained through regular

telephone research, CiTDB is the only technology database that has the capability to profile more than 2.2 million IT decision makers from the top 750,000 business in 25 countries. Furthermore it delivers insight data for decision makers expressing interest in all areas of IT and telecoms.

Information Arts now has the ability to further accelerate sales by blending established data with proactively sourced information in the form of Ci Alert. Its aim is to provide the most effective lead generation tool for businesses selling technology and telecoms services. By providing telephone validation, Ci Alerts links critical technology usage information with the right decision maker from the most lucrative technology buying companies in the world.

Effective from August, Information Arts has taken the existing Harte Hanks UK Sales Team as part of the Agreement. This experienced Team offers continuity for clients' and will continue to act as the spearhead for the database, and who will also promote the new wider range of insight and data services based upon CiTDB.

The announcement follows the launch by Information Arts of a number of specifically developed products including the OMNI Pan European database and further boosting its client portfolio with Cisco Systems, Vonage, Vodafone and Thus.

In October 2007 Harte-Hanks and Information Arts announced an agreement that would give Harte-Hanks the exclusive option to acquire Information Arts in October 2008. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
