ICAST, Sooper Credit Union and Centennial Lending Announce Sooper E Loan Program

Colorado –ICAST, Sooper Credit Union and Centennial Lending have approved the establishment of the Sooper E Loan Second Trust Deed Program. These loans originate in partnership with ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology), which is an accredited engineering and energy advisory firm. The program is intended to develop a workable and profitable commercial second trust deed to produce green upgrades including energy efficiency, water conservation and renewable energy installations.

Terms of 5 and 10 years are available for loans ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Loans over both terms are fully amortized and there are no prepay penalties. “ Sooper Credit Union has been a leader

in developing loan products to support renewable energy, such as solar panels and farms, and we want to extend that commitment to include energy conservation and retrofit for commercial and nonprofits buildings throughout Colorado,” noted Dan Kester, Chief Executive Officer at Sooper. Eligible applicants are required to obtain an evaluation from ICAST containing a project budget and utility bill savings for the building. “We are excited about this partnership with Sooper Credit Union that will benefit our clients and allow them to reduce their utility costs and increase the value of their property, while improving the comfort, health, and safety of the occupants of their buildings”, said Ravi Malhotra, President of ICAST.
