ATHENS, Greece (AP) - A small militant group claimed responsibility Thursday for bombing an investment company in central Athens.
The far-left Popular Will group said in a statement in the Pontiki weekly newspaper that it carried out Wednesday night's attack and a March 19 bomb attack on a government real estate agency in Athens. Neither attack caused injuries.
Wednesday's blast _ in a highly guarded section opposite the private office of Greece's interior minister _ targeted a firm linked in media reports to security system projects for the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Several of those deals are under investigation for alleged fraud. Popular Will said it selected the investment firm due to its involvement in the projects.
Police said the small bomb was detonated by mobile phone.

Popular Will claimed responsibility for attacks over the past five years against a court complex, offices of the German industrial giant Siemens AG and the offices of a Greek think tank. A bomb exploded in only one attack.
Militant groups increased attacks after December's police shooting of a teenager caused the country's worst riots in decades.
