Oliver Dawson, president and host of Beer Lovers Tour International, will explain how his recent trip to Ukraine convinced him that Ukraine deserves to be counted among the world's leading beer producers.

in Canada, I wanted to see firsthand how it was made," says Oliver. "And, I wanted to assess the potential for a Beer Lovers Tour of Ukraine."

Slavutich is produced at the most modern brewery in Europe. Its gleaming, state-of-the-art Kyiv brewery is the newest on the continent. On the other end of the scale, Lvivske is crafted in the oldest and most historic brewery in Ukraine.

"In fact, the Lvivske brewery hosts Ukraine's only museum of brewing and its tasting cellar is home to Lviv's most popular restaurant. The brewery even has a chapel in which services are conducted for employees and water is blessed for the beer," says Oliver. "Overall, Ukraine has a really interesting beer culture."

Oliver Dawson, along with Multiculture Marketing's John Vellinga will be re-creating the beer tasting master class originally performed in Ukraine right here at Toronto's Beer Bistro.
