Skydive Jordan 2014 kicks off in Jordan in partnership with Skydive Dubai

Amman, Aug. 2014— The Royal Aero Sports Club of Jordan (RASCJ) in partnership with Skydive Dubai (SDD) has announced the opening of registration for Skydive Jordan 2014 event that will take place at the Dead Sea.
The two-month activity that will run from September 7th through November 7th this year includes skydiving for professional skydivers and Tandem skydivers at RASCJ drop zone at the northern shore of the Dead Sea.
According to Maher Al - Tal, General Manager of RASCJ, the partnership with Skydive Dubai, which is the second, indicates the success of the first partnership that laid the foundation for the skydive sport that was introduced for the first time in Jordan.
Al – Tal added that Skydive Dubai enjoys a prestigious reputation regionally and globally and has partnerships with well-known clubs. Thus, “organizing activities with Skydive Dubai will have a great impact on promoting tourism in Jordan and between both countries.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Yousef Abdul Rahman the executive director of Skydive Dubai said: “On behalf of Skydive Dubai and myself, I would like to thank [RASCJ] for their hospitality and welcoming, which in return is a reflection of the values of both the government and the people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan”.
“We are proud of the partnership with [RASCJ], which will contribute to highlighting aero sports in Jordan and the region and supports fans of this sport”.
Skydiving was launched for the first time in Jordan in 2012 in Wadi Rum in partnership with Skydive Dubai. The event was a great success with participants from Jordan and several nationalities from the Middle East and Europe. Another activity was organized in 2013 at the Dead Sea and in cooperation with a club from Czech Republic and it witnessed a high turnover. Preparations are underway to organize it annually. RASCJ signed an agreement with Ola Al Faris, a renowned media specialist at the MBC satellite channel.
