The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO announces the opening of admission for Executive MBA programme due to start in January, 2009. SKOLKOVO EMBA is a world-level programme that is unique in Russia. It is targeted at mature leaders, top-managers and business-owners with solid managerial experience. The programme's focus is leadership development.
SKOLKOVO EMBA is the first degree programme at SKOLKOVO of 18-month duration. The programme consists of 16 modules, starting in January, 2009, and ending in June, 2010, including 13 four-day modules, 2 six-day modules and 1 seven-day international module in China. The format of the programme will allow the participants to stay in a full-time working process while they are advancing their professional and leadership skills. Moscow, September 3, 2008 -
The large part of the programme is devoted to Leadership Development. The Leadership practice course begins with assessment 360, after which an individual Leadership Development plan is developed jointly by a programme participant and his or her coach. An individual coach provides one-on-one, custom leadership-development opportunities for programme participants. SKOLKOVO's coaching framework ensures that the
coach and the coachee establish a confidential, empowering, professional relationship to enhance effectiveness through leadership. Leadership practice also includes team coaching, stress management and skills upgrade in such aspects as communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict management, motivation and others.
One of the most important advantages of the SKOLKOVO EMBA programme is its unique faculty. The knowledge part of the programme will be presented by Noubar Afeyan (MIT Sloan School of Management), Zeger Degraeve (London Business School), Paul Evans and David Young (INSEAD), Keith Goodall (University of Cambridge, Judge Business School), Sergey Guriev (New Economic School), Aneel Karnani (Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan), Jaume Ribera (IESE Business School), Donald Sexton and Paul Thurman (Columbia University), and Kalun Tse (Nyenrode University). Russia-tailored courses were prepared by the faculty exclusively for SKOLKOVO EMBA. Courses also include case-studies based on the experience of SKOLKOVO's Founding Partners.
To add to the programme as another core advantage is the school's unique networking. The programme fee is EUR 90,000. It covers all programme-related costs: tuition fee, accommodation full board, international assignment in China, full pack of educational materials, a laptop and all necessary equipment.
