A non-toxic, enhancer is applied to the surface to facilitate gliding action. The amount of enhancer used, cleanliness of the surface, and sharpness of the skates, combine to create the optimum skating experience, similar to skating on a pond.
Our hybrid iceŽ rinks are ideal for clients with limited space, smaller budgets and perfect for a variety of applications: public skating, corporate functions, schools, pond hockey, trade shows, tv/film, festivals, tree lighting ceremonies, ice shows and locations where refrigerated ice is not an option.
Rinks are easily installed in three hours, and require a solid flat surface such as asphalt, basketball/tennis courts, gymnasiums, courtyards, Astroturf, sub-floor decking or stages. Rinks are available in any size and can be customized to suit any shape.
Our all-inclusive rentals and purchase packages include the rink floor, borders, rubber mats, benches, ice skates, maintenance equipment, storage, music and entertainment. Our optional event management and service packages provide training to local staff, event staffing and program development.
