Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has bounced back after she was axed from TV show Melrose Place - she's to reprise her role as Roxie Hart in Broadway's Chicago.
The singer-turned-actress landed a role as Violet Foster on the remake of the 1990s soap opera earlier this year (09), but last month (Oct09) TV bosses announced her character would be cut as part of a plot revamp.
But she has swiftly moved on from the series and is now set to make her Broadway debut, picking up the role she played in London's West End in 2006.
She will begin her six-week stint in December (09), according to GossipCop.com.
