Sharp Corporation will establish Sharp Corporation Mexico, S.A. de C.V., a sales subsidiary for consumer electronics and office equipment in Mexico City, United Mexican States. The new sales subsidiary will start operations on January 1, 2010.

With consumer spending showing signs of a recovery, especially in urban areas, the Mexican market is poised to continue growing. By establishing this new sales subsidiary in Mexico to strengthen sales and marketing functions, Sharp will work to enhance brand value and expand business in the country's market.
