- Signature Estate and Investment Advisors, LLC(R) (SEIA) was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in L.A. for 2008 by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This countywide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Los Angeles County, benefiting the region's economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Places to Work in L.A. list comprises 70 companies split into three groups: 5 small-sized companies, 50 medium-sized companies and 15 large-sized companies. SEIA ranked #14 in the medium-sized company category.
Companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the list:
-- Have at least 15 employees in Los Angeles County;
-- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business;
-- Be a publicly or privately held business;
-- Have a facility in Los Angeles County; and
-- Be in business for one full year.
Employers from every industry entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in L.A. The first part - worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation - consisted of assessing each nominated company's workplace policies, practices and demographics. The second part - worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation - consisted of an employee survey to measure employee engagement. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
Best Companies Group, a professional firm located in Harrisburg, PA, managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
SEIA has been recognized in numerous publications - including Barron's, Financial Advisor, Registered Rep. and Wealth Manager Magazines - for its wealth management services.
