Security Savings Bank Receives Outstanding Customer Satisfaction Score

- Security Savings Bank (www.BankPlace.com) today announced an impressive 70% Net Promoter Score (NPS), based on the results of an August 2008 survey. The NPS is considered a strong indicator of customer loyalty and satisfaction. NPS measures the percentage of customers that are likely to recommend a company's products or services to friends and colleagues. A Net Promoter Score of

50% is considered excellent and 10% is the average among U.S. companies. At 70%, Security Savings Bank significantly exceeds the norm and sits in a position held by few companies.

Security Savings Bank's customers were encouraged to provide comments as part of the survey. Comments included praise such as "Your Bank is people oriented," "I think this is a very good bank! The people are just Great!," "Your tellers are the best. They treat me like a friend - not just another customer," and "I believe you are the best bank in Las Vegas. You take good care of your customers."

The Net Promoter Score is used by Fortune 500 and industry-leading companies that include Amazon.com (73%), Dell (50%), Southwest Airlines (51%), The Vanguard Group (70%), eBay (71%), Apple (66%), Intuit (58%) and Cisco (57%). The higher the NPS, the stronger the growth prospects for the company based on the customers' positive word-of-mouth. NPS was co-developed by Satmetrix and loyalty expert Fred Reichheld of Bain & Company.
