Search Engine Optimization Experts to Present Future of SEO and Today’s Best Practices at TechBiz Connection Forum

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 14, 2009 -- TechBiz Connection (TBC) will present a team of highly regarded search engine optimization experts who will discuss the future of SEO and today’s best practices with live site reviews on Wednesday, August 19 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the law offices of Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear in Irvine.

According to Jack Bicer, TBC president, this “must attend” event is designed to help business owners, marketers, and webmasters increase their Web site's traffic, rankings and conversions. “Attendees will learn how to improve rankings in the search engines using social media, link building strategies, and keyword selection, while learning about the future of SEO,” Bicer noted.

To have a web site reviewed at the forum,

people are encouraged to submit their website in advance to sitereview@TechBizConnection.org by August 17th. Only pre-paid attendees can submit early and will get submitted into the review pool. On-site attendees can submit their websites for review if there is remaining panel time.

The panel moderator is Michael Bonfils, international managing director of SEM International, specializing in providing outsourced international search engine optimization and marketing management services for global advertising agencies and Fortune 500 firms. SEM International operates in the Asian, European and Latin American regions with a concentration on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Baidu, Yandex and other media properties.

In addition to running his company’s global operations, Mr. Bonfils is a speaker and writer on search engine marketing technology and trends and is an active columnists on Search Engine Watch, one of the industry’s most highly recognized sources for search engine news. In addition to being the founder of a successful internet contextual advertising agency which he sold in 2004, he has spent the last 12 years at the forefront of helping pioneer the search engine marketing industry.

The panelists include:

• Kevin M. Ryan, CMO for WebVisible, Inc. who oversees corporate marketing, public relations, and creative services and also supervises purchasing and manages media across various ad networks. Formerly global content director for Search Engine Watch and Search Engine Strategies, he is known throughout the world as an interactive marketing thought leader, particularly in search marketing. Widely quoted and recognized as an industry expert, Mr. Ryan has appeared on CNN and been featured in The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and The New York Times. He has also published hundreds of articles on search and interactive marketing in industry publications such as iMedia, MediaPost, ClickZ, and Search Engine Watch. Mr. Ryan also founded the strategic consulting firm Motivity Marketing, Inc. as well as Kinetic Results. He served as vice president of interactive media for the Interpublic Group agency Wahlstrom Interactive.

• Joe Morin, evangelist, WebmasterWorld, currently serves as the CEO of Storybids, a venture-capital funded marketplace focusing on in-video advertisements via product placement in user generated content as well as professionally scripted Internet webisodes. He began his career in the Internet in 2001 founding Boost Search Marketing focusing on organic search engine optimization, branding and strategy, business modeling, lead generation, conversion analysis, competitive intelligence and video SEO, and worked with Autobytel, Business.com, CreditCards.com, Education.com, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, MGM Mirage, Microsoft, Travelzoo, Tribune Interactive and UsedCars.com.
