Director RIDLEY SCOTT is set to turn the board game Monopoly into a comedy thriller.
The Academy award-nominated filmmaker has been promised his pick of young actors for the film, including Scarlett Johansson and Kirsten Dunst, who are being considered for roles.
Hollywood agency WIlliam Morris promise Monopoly's manufacturers, Hasbro, the best of the actors they represent to help to make the film into a blockbuster hit.
Hasbro wants "sexy young people" for the film in order to attract a teenage audience to the board game.
