- Sapient Gail Scibelli, +1-305-581-0095 gscibelli@sapient.com or fama PR Jeff Drew, +1-617-758-4145 sapient@famapr.com Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) today announced that its Sapient Interactive service group has been selected as a winner in the prestigious American Graphic Design Awards for 2008. This award recognizes Sapient's work around the OneHen.org, an interactive Website designed to engage and educate children,

parents and teachers on the benefits of microfinance.

The American Graphic Design Awards received over 10,000 entries for this year's competition, with winners selected by leading creative and design professionals from across the nation, and represent the most innovative concepts and creative designs from the industry each year. Designed and built by Sapient Interactive, OneHen.org is an online space where children can connect with the concept of microfinancing through fun, interactive games. As the ultimate goal of the site is to stimulate a call to action, OneHen also gives children the opportunity to make real donations to microfinancing projects through "virtual loans."

"This award recognizes the dedication and creativity of a stellar team and highlights the unique aspects of an important initiative like OneHen.org," said Gaston Legorburu, chief creative officer at Sapient. "We are proud to be associated with OneHen.org which is teaching millions of children the value of microfinancing through a compelling and exciting interactive experience. We are truly honored to receive this award as it validates our commitment to all aspects of interactive development and design excellence."

The popular American Graphic Design Awards are a nearly four decade-old competition open to advertising agencies, graphic design firms, corporate, and institutional and in-house publishing departments. This award honors a diverse array of outstanding work from across all media, including print and collateral, advertising and sales promotion, corporate identity and logos, internet and interactive design, packaging and point-of-purchase, and broadcast and motion graphics.
