2008-06-28 20:02:22 - Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has said backward classes would play a crucial role in the coming Lok Sabha polls.He claimed that the Samajwadi party will be their in the next Central government.

"The next government at the Centre cannot be formed without SP", Yadav said while addressing a meeting of backward cell of the party in Lucknow on Saturday.

Yadav blamed Chief Minister Mayawati for fooling the backwards and doing nothing for their welfare.

He also mentioned that the previous SP government had included 17 OBC castes in Schedule Caste category but the decision

was revoked by the BSP government and demanded immediate inclusion of these castes in SC category.

Next govt in Centre cannot be formed without lower caste lawamkers,those in powers will have to seek support from Dalits and OBC's to form the next government in Centre.Samajwadi Party chief said in Lucknow for his party role in coming General elections.His party has 39 next largest number of lawamkers after left parties holding the fort of UPA alliance with 59 lawmakers.

There are strong indications of the 39-member SP falling in line with the Congress on the nuclear deal, the Left parties are striving hard to woo it back.

The UNPA an alliance called third front is in state of hibernation looking for their valued opporunity to be part of goverance in ensuing General elections to be held within six-ten months time.UNPA ,conglomerate of left,INLD of Om Parkash Chutala,TDP and SP are expected to take a decision on the issue on 3rd July.

The Politburo meeting of the CPI(M) would be followed almost immediately by meetings of the decision-making bodies of other Left parties- CPI, Forward Bloc and RSP.
