Saket City Hospital (SCH), a new multi-super speciality hospital located in the heart of city, today announced the appointment of Dr. Nayan Kumar Mohanty as Director – Department of Urology.

Dr Nayan has over 34 years of experience in urology with special interest in procedures like endo-urology, laser urology, urodynamics and ultrasound. Prior to this assignment, he was associated with Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as special director general of health services (Medical Education & Training) as well as professor urology, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Nayan has largely been associated with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. In his career of three decades, he has been honoured with various award and fellowships like ‘Teacher of Excellence Award by National Board of Examination’ (2012), ‘Achievers Award, Delhi Urology Society’ (2010), ‘Padamshree Dr. Zaman Award’ (2010), ‘Indraprastha Colloquim Lecture Award’ (2008) to name a few.

Dr. Nayan holds his MBBS, M.S. (Surgery) from Utkal University, Cuttack and M.Ch. (Urology) from AIIMS, Delhi.
