Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC: SSHS : ), a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announces today that its subsidiary, SEARCHglobal, Inc., dba, Premier Background Search (PBS), has been approved by the Texas Package Store Association (TPSA) as their vendor of choice for background checks for its membership.

PBS ( www.pbs-usa.com : ) is an internet based

background investigations company, which provides consumers and businesses with a web-based automated background screening tool that searches over 300 million records nationally, and provides an instantaneous response to each individual inquiry. The search includes criminal records, credit history, and driving history. TPSA has been representing the Texas liquor store industry since 1947, and in August 2009, approved PBS as its official vendor of choice for background checks. PBS is now listed on the “Membership Benefits” page on TPSA’s website ( www.texaspackage.com/15.html : ).

TPSA was organized to protect the interests of package store owners in the state of Texas. TPSA continually strives to unite all package store owners to create a stronger voice in legislative battles and to provide significant volume discounts and special benefits to its members.

Members range from single store operators to some of the largest package store chains in Texas. TPSA provides their membership group-benefit opportunities that ultimately lower costs to their customers.
Additionally, TPSA establishes a voice in Austin to help prevent the passage of legislation and taxes that would be harmful to the industry.

TPSA members operate one of the most highly regulated businesses in America. The very livelihood of every package store operator is dependent upon governmental rules and regulations.
