Currie is the author of a paperback that is popular among single men of college-age and older entitled ‘Mode One: Let The Women Know What You're REALLY Thinking,' and frequently finds himself answering not only questions that single men throw his way regarding the ups and downs of online dating, but Currie also finds himself offering thoughtful advice to single women who generally tend to be looking for more from an online dating site than just a weekend fling of casual sex.

‘Men tend to pursue casual sex trysts through online dating sites much more than women do,' said Currie. ‘Most women who are reasonably attractive can find a casual sex partner at their local bar, restaurant, nightclub, or other social venue. Women don't need to pay $19.95 per month to find a casual sex partner,' added Currie.

Currie came up with the idea to highlight and help out online dating singles after interviewing romance expert and online dating entrepreneur Trish McDermott on his Internet radio show, ‘Upfront & Straightforward with Alan Roger Currie' in late July of 2007. McDermott was very instrumental in getting the popular online matchmaking service, Match.com, off the ground, and now McDermott is working her same brand of marketing magic with a new, up-and-coming site known as Engage.com

‘I've already had a number of single men and women tell me that they would be willing to listen to my show while they are browsing through profiles, or reading and responding to e-mail messages from one or more of the online dating sites that they have a paid membership with,' said Currie, who is excited to incorporate dating singles looking for love and sex through the Internet into his show format.
