Adding a feather to his hat, Rohit on 24th december 2012 was felicitated by MPCC President Manikrao Thackery & MLC Charan Singh Sapra on the grand Finale of the Mulund Festival 2012 and officially entering his name into The Mulund Book Of Records being a resident of Mulund, and making a Record with The India Book Of Records, The Record being 400 poems written and being published in a series of Four books titled “Breaking Silence” Published by First Step Publishing in an single years time. Mulund Festival 2012 was a Four Day Festival held in Mulund. Festival graced by many Dignitaries and Celebrities. The Finale was broadcasted live on Cable TV and local news channels as well With Eminent

Rohit Shetty, born and brought up in Mumbai is Academically a chemical Engineer and a jubilant author, a passionate poet and a very dynamic person. he started writing at the age on twelve. he wrote for himself and dreamt of being a published author since childhood.
“some emotions are better left unsaid. but at times you feel that it would have been better if you had said it.”
As true as this quote, Rohit’s poems are the true, deep unsaid feelings and emotions penned down in form of his poetries.

He has recently made a Record and his name being entered into India Book Of Records. The Record being 400 poems written and being published in a series of Four books titled “Breaking Silence” Published by First Step Publishing in an single years time.
His list of achievements in the field of literary goes on some of which includes, his poem being published in the Congress Library US Apart from which his poem has been published in “The international Book of Poetry” in the year 2001 and also in the book “silent solitude” by Kevin Lavin. His few poems were published in ‘Mulund Plus’ now known as ‘Mulund and Powai Plus’ a sub division of The Times of India in the year 2004.

He is currently working on Murdered To Moksha a Crime Thriller Novel with Ketki Borgaonkar, making it the first novel of both the authors, due to be launched in the first quarter of 2013, is already becoming an internet sensation with the kind of response it is receiving, with many asking the question “when is the book releasing?” .. “What is book about” .. “where can he buy it?” .. etc.
