RLI Promotes Kliethermes to Senior Vice President

RLI Corp. (NYSE:RLI) - RLI announced today it has promoted Craig W. Kliethermes, FCAS, MAAA, CPCU, to the position of senior vice president, risk services. Kliethermes will report to Michael J. Stone, president of RLI Insurance Company, and will be responsible for actuarial, reinsurance, exposure management and home office underwriting efforts.


Kliethermes joined the company in 2006 as

vice president, actuarial and risk services with over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry.


"Craig has been instrumental in strengthening the company's actuarial and enterprise risk management areas as well as providing strategic direction since joining RLI," said Stone. "His leadership skills will be invaluable as his duties have expanded to include underwriting support and management."


Kliethermes serves on the executive advisory board of Illinois State University's Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services.
