Atlantic City, NJ - August 20, 2007 - It is time once again for Ripley's annual search for the funniest face in America! The Ripley's Believe It or Not! 11th Annual Face Off contest will take place in the lobby of Ripley's Atlantic City Odditorium on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Contestants will compete for the title of Face Off Champion,

and a first prize of $300. In addition, the Face Off winner will become part of Ripley's unbelievable collection, with a photograph of his or her winning expression on display in the Atlantic City museum.

'The Face Off contest is one of the highlights of the year,- says Chris Connelly, General Manager for the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium. 'Each year brings something original and exciting. You never know what you will see.-

The 'eye-popping- expression of the 2006 Face Off winner, Jalisa Thompson of Atlantic City, was featured in the most recent Believe It or Not! book entitled The Remarkable'Revealed. Jalisa will be making an appearance at this year's event as one of three judges.

Those who wish to be a contestant in the Face Off contest must arrive by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22. There is no fee to enter and contestants need only bring their best facial expression to try out for a spot in the Face Off finals, which will take place at 11 a.m.
