USG Corporation (NYSE: USG), a leading building products company, has announced the election of Richard P. Lavin, Group President of Caterpillar Inc., to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Lavin is responsible for Caterpillar’s Earthmoving and Excavation Divisions, operations in China and Japan and other Asia Pacific operations. Mr. Lavin is a member of the board of directors of the U.S.

China

Business Council, U.S. India Business Council and the U.S. Korea Business Council, and is also a member of The Conference Board and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He serves on the International Advisory Council of Guanghua School of Management at Peking University and is on the Board of Trustees at Bradley University and Saint Mary of the Woods College.
