Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP is pleased to announce that Richard H.

(“Rick”) Taylor has joined the firm’s Commercial & Corporate Litigation Practice Group as Senior Counsel. Mr. Taylor will begin work in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and ultimately spend the majority of his time in the Wheeling office.

“Thorp Reed is committed to staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving commercial and corporate litigation landscape,” said Jeff Conn, Managing Partner of Thorp Reed & Armstrong. “Rick’s unique background experience and specialties will make him a valuable addition to our litigation team, bringing complementary knowledge of the law that will build upon the group’s already impressive credentials.”

Mr. Taylor’s practice has been primarily in civil litigation with an emphasis on

insurance coverage and asbestos matters, including time served as in-house counsel for the United States Steel Corporation.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as Associate in the San Francisco office of Perkins Coie, LLP, where he was responsible for over 500 asbestos cases. Mr. Taylor received his J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.
