Revel Consulting : , a Kirkland, Washington-based business management consulting firm, today announced that it will make a monetary donation and offer ongoing support through in-kind consulting services to Treehouse : , a Seattle-based community non-profit dedicated to providing services for foster children. Continuing its traditional holiday giving program, Revel’s donation this year will support Treehouse programs which provide services to more than 5,000 Seattle area foster children each year. In addition to the monetary donation, Revel has expanded its holiday giving and plans to donate consulting services to help Treehouse operations run more efficiently and reduce organizational overhead as part of Revel’s ongoing Sustainable Giving : program.

we feel fortunate this holiday season to be able to support Treehouse financially as well organizationally by offering our consultants’ expertise,” said Brett Alston, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Revel. “We had been searching for an organization that is able to make a big impact on children in the Seattle-area, so Treehouse was the perfect fit for us.”

Treehouse gives foster kids a childhood and a future with programs that help them succeed in school, fulfill key material needs, and connect them to experiences every child deserves. Since 1988, Treehouse has filled the gaps for kids in foster care, providing services : such as money for extra-curricular activities and summer camp, professional educational support services (tutoring, advocacy and college and career planning), resources to fully participate in the everyday activities of growing up and clothing and supplies to help them fit in at school.

Earlier in 2009, Revel consultants offered their project management and marketing expertise to Foster Kids 5K Run & Walk : , which supports abused and neglected foster children in the Seattle area. In the coming months, Revel will partner with Treehouse to determine where consulting services will provide the most value to their organization in 2010 and beyond.
