Restraining Order 911 Brings Hope to Wrongfully Accused Fathers

With the release of Restraining Order 911 Ron Lasorsa offers resources, tools, and encouragement to fathers who may be wrongfully accused of violence and abuse.
Because of unfair and unfounded restraining orders, many fathers find themselves without a home, family, and legal support;

even though they have done nothing illegal. With the current provisions in the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), a formal restraining order can be obtained with little or no evidence, or without even notifying the defendant until after the order has been obtained. Restraining orders are easy to obtain and sadly, are often used as weapons during the dissolution of a marriage.

In an effort to even the playing field during divorce proceedings, Lasorsa offers fathers practical, intelligent advice on how to protect themselves. He teaches his readers how to overturn unfair orders with facts and evidence, and how to present themselves in court so that they are taken seriously.

Most importantly, Lasorsa advocates for children, helping fathers see how the effects of the legal system, divorce, and the actions of both parents can have long-lasting effects. He promotes reason, and above all else, the welfare of children. Rather than assuming that mothers are the most concerned about their children, Lasorsa writes from experience as a father, encouraging other fathers to stand up for their children and their rights to be an active, loving part of their lives.
