2009-10-26 17:44:43 - Restaurant SAVOY, North Raleigh’s affordable dining experienced, announced it would offer private dinning for the coming season, making it easier to plan holiday office parties.

RALEIGH, N.C. (October 26, 2009)—With the holiday season approaching, Restaurant SAVOY (www.restaurantsavoy.com), North Raleigh's affordable fine dining experience, announces private dinning as an alternative to the holiday office party. Open for lunch and dinner, mid-afternoon gatherings are always welcome and allow groups additional privacy. Making plans now will reduce some of the stress associated with the coming season.

“Holiday parties

give business owners a chance to thank employees for their hard work,” says Chef and General Manager Marshall Smith. “There is no better way of showing appreciation then stepping away from cubicles into an award-winning restaurant.”

The North Raleigh location, Four-Star cuisine, and private upscale dining make it a welcomed alternative to catered office parties. Savoy’s contemporary and elegant private dining is suited for smaller offices up to 20 employees. On request, the main dining room can be reserved for larger gatherings.

SAVOY’s classically trained chefs will assist you in creating a custom, multi-course, prix fixe menu for the occasion, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Offerings such as upscale fois gras are menu staples, while popular seasonal specialties include pumpkin bisque, sweetbreads and dishes using apples, butternut squash, zucchini and watercress.

The restaurant is considered one of the best in the Triangle. Greg Cox, food critic for the News and Observer gave SAVOY Four Stars and listed it as one of the top 10 newcomers for 2009. Savoy has received Metro Magazine's MetroBravo award for best wait staff; the 2009 Diner's Choice Award from OpenTable.com and is Nickelodeon’s Parent Connect 2009 Parent Pick as the best place for a parent date night in Raleigh/Durham.

SAVOY is located at Greystone Village on Lead Mine Road in North Raleigh, and is open from 11:30 a.m-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday; 5:00 p.m-10:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
