Since the time inception it is believed that majority of the people from this village have migrated from Kashi, Varanasi which is located in the northern part of the country. According to the history of the village, eight generation of families have

sent their sons to become soldiers, right from the colonial British era. These warriors have battled their lives not only during the second world war but have relentless fought for India’s independence movement. Each and every house in Shivtar has its own fascinating story to narrate.
