Remington College Names Dr. Kurt Hubbard National Dean of Occupational and Physical Therapy Studies

Heathrow, Florida – Remington College has named Dr. Kurt Hubbard National Dean of Occupational and Physical Therapy Studies.

In his new position, Dr. Hubbard will be responsible for the development, progress and growth of the Occupational and Physical Therapy programs, including curriculum preparation, program operations, compliance, accreditation, organizing and leading national and local advisory committees, and marketing for clinical site contracts.

Dr. Hubbard is the owner of Hubbard Occupational Therapy, P.C., which has offices in Florida and New York. The company has been providing occupational therapy services since 2004. The company also works with hospitals to develop community outreach and research programs.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Hubbard has several years teaching

occupational therapy and social science classes at the college level. He served as an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine, and Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University and Flagler College, and was an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Dr. Hubbard has several degrees, including:
• PhD in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona.
• Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.
• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
• Master of Arts in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
• Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Hubbard is currently the President of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association and has had numerous research papers published.
