On October 12th at the Long Beach Terrace Theater stand-up comedian, actor, and film producer Mike Epps will be performing live, but more importantly is the sold out, standing room only after party hosted by the music industries newest music label Beach Front Music. Right after the comedian extraordinaire performance, Beach Front Music will pre-premier the launch of its label at the Mai Tai Bar, located in downtown Long Beach within close proximity of the Terrance Theater. This red-carpeted event will feature, appearances by the labels front runner artists: Daisy, Tiny C-Style, Keira Nova, Young Dice, Style Jr, Day Day, the celebration of Nick Cannons artist birthday, N’Credible Hero, and special guest Big Dee.
Beach Front Music is the newest music
industry’s independent label. Having a full staff of seasoned musical and talented executives, their statement of launch is like none other, setting the bar in the independent music sector. The perspective of Beach Front Music is to globally help up and coming artist in all genres. “Independent is the way to go these days, all an artist needs from major labels is distribution,” exclaims president of artist development Tasha L. Cooper. Additionally, Beach Front Music is focused on trying to bring global diversity music back to the westcoast. Ms. Cooper explained, “There is a lot of talent on the westcoast that is underrated and unexposed. We want to identify with those artists and project them to the world.” Tasha Cooper and business partner Lita Calhoun is responsible for developing hundreds of amazing talent around the world, some whom are dancers, chorographers, musicians, and more. The group of diversified talent have, worked alongside, opened, performed, played or danced back-up for such artists Quincy Jones, Nick Cannon, Blink 182, Red Hot Chili Peppers Madonna, Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Kanye West. Moreover, the talent they have booked has been on musical tours, music videos, major films, commercials and song productions. These two executives are but a few of what the super independent label has to offer. One of Beach Front Music’s greatest assets is president Big C-Style.
Big C-Style’s musical stamp begins in the 1990’s; where he discovered the legendary Snoop Dogg bringing the formation of Doggy-Style records. In 1992 Big C-Style help create DPG (Dogg Pound Gangsters) and landed his first label deal with Capitol Records. Since then Big C-Style has switched his 19th street label to the new reformed Beach Front Music and intends on conducting business on a much larger scale. Big C-Style projects the new reformed label is much superior to its past counterpart, with a huge experienced support team, Beach Front Music looks to drive label revenue in the upper millions in the close fiscal future.
