Elk Meadow Gift Shop offers Redwood-inspired memorabilia, clothing and gift items made by local vendors Redwood Adventures, a division of Redwood Parks Lodge Company, today formally announced the opening of the Elk Meadow Gift Shop, the latest addition to the company's growing vacation destination located just outside the Redwood National and State Parks.
'Each and every visitor to the area has a different way they would like to remember their experience here in the Redwoods,'
said Donna Hufford, general manager for Redwood Parks Lodge Company. 'The Elk Meadow Gift Shop is brimming with everything from redwood branded memorabilia and trail snacks to unique keepsakes made by our favorite local vendors. We are confident visitors will find the perfect mementos for themselves or loved ones who were left behind at home.'
The Elk Meadow Gift Shop carries a variety of postcards, calendars magnets, coffee cups, notepads, picture keepsakes and books displaying the coastal redwood scenery. In addition to the items above, the Elk Meadow Gift Shop also carries
• Locally made jellies, preserves and BBQ sauces
• Organic lotions, balms and soaps
• Myrtle wood Jewelry
• Redwood forest books, hiking guides and maps
• Children's plush animals, books and blocks
• Redwood Adventures apparel including sweatshirts, t-shirts and shorts in a wide range of styles and sizes
Tourists and local visitors can also make reservations for one of the company's six luxury cabins in the Redwood Adventures Village or schedule half-day, full-day or multi-day/night tours with Redwood Adventures Tours.

The Elk Meadow Gift Shop operates Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with extended hours during July and August.
