Sandvika, February 8, 2013; Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (REC) has received
notification from Chairman Jens Ulltveit-Moe of his decision to resign from the
Board of Directors of REC. The Board of Directors has elected Mimi K. Berdal as
new Chairman. The Board is grateful for Jens Ulltveit-Moe's contributions both
as key investor and chairman of REC in a challenging period and acknowledges his
visionary enthusiasm for REC and the solar industry.
