www.dfwama.com - The DFW American Marketing Association (DFW AMA) announces that Liz Cahill, VP of Marketing and Communications, Lee Jeans/VF Corporation, will present "Finding a Fit with Web 2.0: How Lee Jeans Took a Traditional Cause Campaign Local."
Cahill is credited with overseeing the recent launch of a masterbrand marketing communications strategy, which included expanding Lee
Jeans' 12-year consumer outreach campaign into the latest new media space - social networking. The consumer communications she has led a team in creating have a renewed focus on the key attribute of all Lee Jeans products--fit, and the latest campaign is aptly named, "Get what fits."
In 2007, Cahill was instrumental in the success of Lee National Denim Day. This award-winning cause marketing campaign was launched into the nontraditional space by utilizing communications with YouTube, consumer blogs, Facebook, MySpace, and customized webpages. In doing so, the brand primed its 12-year consumer outreach campaign for decades more of success.
