Rage4 have launched a new Point of Presence in Ireland for their global DNS service.
In partnership with Cork Internet eXchange, Rage4 Networks have recently launched a new Point of Presence in Cork, Ireland. This latest Point of Presence will join their existing global anycast network spread across strategic global network points to provide increased performance to customers of their state-of-the-art DNS service.
Rage4 is not your typical DNS service; Rage4 works on a pay-as-you-go basis. This means users only pay for real usage. The first 250,000 DNS requests per month, per domain, are absolutely free. Rage4 also has many innovative features, such as Failover support, Monitoring and API access.
The new Irish PoP will also benefit Rage4's GeoDNS feature. GeoDNS allows Rage4 to serve traffic to your users from the nearest geographic server in the Rage4
Network. This feature results in reduced latency and an increase in website speeds. Peter Ginalski, director of Rage4 Networks commented; "It's great to have added the Cork Internet eXchange to our global network considering our strong corporate relations with Ireland."
About Rage4 Networks
Dublin based GBSHouse.com originally launched Rage4 in October last year. Thanks to the success of the DNS service, GBSHouse.com took the decision in early 2013 to separate the service into its own company: Rage4 Networks.
